Zero Friction's newest innovation, the STRIDE electric bag trolley, is an autonomous electric golf bag with smart follow technology. Unlike other golf trolleys on the market, the STRIDE is an all-in-one bag and trolley. The wheels can be easily removed in seconds allowing the bag to fit nicely on the back of a golf cart. The STRIDE includes a rechargeable battery and has a built-in intelligent gyroscope control system for stability, speed control, soft start, and automatic stop. The bag has a pocket-sized remote control that uses smart follow technology to follow within three feet of you. The bag weighs thirty-one pounds, and the battery weighs four pounds, for a total weight of thirty-five pounds. The quick-release 10-inch all-terrain wheels allow easy storage. The frame is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum, and the bag is poly-leather. The outer shell is water-repellent with waterproof zippers and has a two-year warranty.

Love the idea, execution is only ok.

Let me start off by saying that this is my daily bag, and it's most definitely better than my Alphard cart. Here are the pros/cons

Pros.
1. Follow me feature is freaking awesome.
2. It has an APP which can talk to the firmware on the device. If you know how to tinker with technology - you will find a lot of useful features in there
3. It's one unit. Not much need for a set up.
4. Bag itself is pretty nice quality
5. Really great battery life!

Cons
1. Wheels don't really have a tight fit. It wiggles a lot, leaving a lot of shaved metal parts whenever you take them off after use.
2. My biggest pet-peeve: Wheel tracking is very bad. It does not turn sharp corners like i thought it would. It often spins out trying to turn. Y'all need to fix this by having the rear wheels on a swivel.
3. It takes some getting used to. I'm at a point where I can use it pretty well, but the "getting used to" took around 10 rounds with this thing.
4. Too many useless features, like:
- The remote holder
- Club holder
- Camera button on the app
5. Wish the umbrella holder was better and sturdier.

Overall - this bag is good. Leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully they can take this feedback and improve it for V2.

Great idea but could use refinement.

A little heavy to get in and out of car. Battery life is great lasting over 36 holes. I’ve had some issues with Stride not moving forward from a stop unless I reverse for a second before going forward. There is no issue like that when it is in follow mode. If I use the app to speed it up, it returns to the standard speed after restarting even if the app has it set faster. All in all a good product but probably needs some firmware and software updates.

Better than average

It has some good features, but also think it needs some design changes.
1. The club slots need to have the clips removed as they make it difficult to get the clubs out.
2. The wheels need more traction as they do to much slipping on wet grass especially up slopes.
3. The push handle needs to be redisigned as the clubs are in the road of being able to push it back into place after use.
4. I don't like the location on the recommended location for the putter, as it is under the coverage of the irons and you are constantly banging the irons to get it out, and since it is a club that you use on every hole, this should be changed.
